Rossendale Works provides free sessions and activities for people looking for employment in the area or who are in need of a boost of confidence.

For some weekly activities you will need to register first before attending. For these, please get in touch to book your first session by contacting our Project Officer:

Mondays

Skills Hub 

What is it? Gain job searching support, receive basic IT advice and develop essential skills for seeking employment.

When is it? 9am - 4pm.

Where is it? The Business Centre, Futures Park, Bacup, OL13 0BB.

Free Employment and Health Advice Sessions

What is it? Receive tailored guidance and support to improve your health and wellbeing. Also, access free training and employment opportunities to improve your skills and help you find work. You can also learn how to access mental health and emotional support. The sessions are run in collaboration with the NHS.

When is it? 2pm - 4pm

Employment and Training Drop In Sessions (ages 16 to 18) 

What is it? Aged 16 to 18 and interested in higher education or a career in Rossendale? Come along to our next drop-in session, run in collaboration with Lancashire County Council. Find out more about pathways into education, apprenticeships and local job opportunities, plus learn about free local activities you can access including sports, to help boost your skills and wellbeing.

Ladies Yoga Sessions

What is it? Free, friendly and welcoming yoga sessions hosted by Midlife on the Mat. 

When is it? Every Monday, with two sessions available: 12.15pm - 1.15pm and 1.30pm - 2.30pm

Free Boxercise and Wellbeing Group

What is it? Join us for a cardio workout with a chill and chat.
