The impact of the Pandemic on Community Sport provision and participation dissemination event

Microsoft Teams Webinar

During the summer, Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) in collaboration with five Active Partnership in the North undertook research to explore the impact of COVID-19 on community Sport provision and participation in the North of England including Lancashire.

The research takes a ‘deep dive’ into the hidden voices and experiences of organisations and individuals within communities that are specifically low socio-economic status and aim to tease out nuances across, gender, age, ethnicity/faith and social class.

Dr Chris Mackintosh who led the project will share the findings of the research. Please join the event to learn more about the challenges faced by organisations and individuals across Lancashire and how they responded.
