Successful £10k funding bid supports youth mental health in Pendle

Active Lancashire bid for £10,000 funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to allow Lancashire Mind to work from Pendle YES Hub, a youth employment centre in Nelson, every Thursday.

They provide free tailored one-to-one coaching to young people aged 16 to 24 who are suffering from depression, anxiety and other issues of mental health.

We interviewed Colin from Lancashire Mind about what young people can expect from the sessions.

Active Lancashire run Pendle YES Hub in partnership with Positive Action in the Community (PAC) on behalf of Pendle Council.
