Ole Skool Sports Day Partnership Networking

Join Active Lancashire at their Ole Skool Sports Day partnership and networking event on Wednesday 27th September, 10AM to 3PM, at Beacon Country Park in Skelmersdale. The event, which is open to community groups, organisations, and clubs around the Skelmersdale area, providing the opportunity for attendees to share insights about their contributions to improving the health and wellbeing of those living in West Lancashire.

Attendees will take part in school sports day-style events, from egg and spoon races to relay races, with activities being accessible to those of all abilities. This will offer the unique opportunity for individuals to connect, engage in meaningful discussions, and discover the diverse tapestry of groups and their collective efforts towards community wellbeing. Active Lancashire’s mission is to serve as the catalyst, fostering connections among people in the local area.

After the fun and laughter of the games, attendees will reconvene to explore ideas on strengthening collaborative networks and together the common threads weaving through each organisations respective priorities and goals. In a collective call to action, Active Lancashire and attending organisations will agree a way to take the next step together as a network, all determined by a common purpose.
