More Positive Together film highlights impact of the project

Active Lancashire, together with Stanley Road Film and Media, has produced a film centred around their More Positive Together Project.

The short film, which aims to showcase the impact of the project, features a number of conversations with project participants and mentors from multiple housing associations who are part of the project.

It opens with Claire, a recovering addict who is now part of Great Places More Positive Together project. Claire speaks about her struggles prior to discovering the project, and how she has since gone onto attend a number of different classes and courses which have helped build her confidence and give her the boost she needed to get fit and healthy, as well as going back into education.

Claire is just one of many participants who have had life-changing experiences on the project which aims to reach out to those across Lancashire who are furthest from the labour market, providing intense 1 to 1 support helping them to feel more prepared for employment.

More Positive Together is a collaboration between housing associations, local authorities and third sector organisations, and it is clear to see from the film that thus far the relationship is proving to be highly beneficial for Lancashire residents and communities.
