Primary School Sport Premium is a ring fenced funding allocated directly to primary schools across England. This funding is being jointly provided by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport, and will see money going directly to primary school headteachers to spend on improving the quality of PE and school sport for all their children.
The Government's PE and School Sport Vision is supported in by national partners Sport England, afPE, Youth Sport Trust and County Sports Partnerships.
Primary School Sport Premium
The DfE have confirmed the doubled Primary PE and Sport premium. The high level changes are that, from September 2017 Schools with 16 or fewer eligible pupils receive £1000 per pupil; and schools with 17 or more eligible pupils receive £16,000 and an additional payment of £10 per pupil.
