Active Ants

Active Ants is a Primary School Digital Health Programme which is designed to support children to achieve 60 minutes of physical activity a day in line with the Chief Medical Officer guidelines.

Primary School Sport Premium

The DfE have confirmed the doubled Primary PE and Sport premium. The high level changes are that, from September 2017 Schools with 16 or fewer eligible pupils receive £1000 per pupil; and schools with 17 or more eligible pupils receive £16,000 and an additional payment of £10 per pupil.

Pictures of Health

The ‘Pictures of Health’ project was an opportunity to investigate people who had previously seen themselves as relatively inactive, but who were determined to increase their exercise and improve their fitness.

Building Better Opportunities

If you have a current running group, you can choose whether to keep your group name the same or tweak it. We recommend that group names do not include the day of the week when you currently meet, in case you decide to change this or add further sessions in the future.

Working in partnership with local sport development teams and local running groups the project aims to increase the number of trained Leaders in Running Fitness and subsequently increase the number of registered beginner running groups.
