BBC Children in Need awards grants each year to organisations supporting disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.
There are three different types of grant available:
- Main Grant
- Small Grant
- Emergency essentials
Main Grants programme is open to charities and not-for-profit organisations applying for grants over £10,000 per year for up to three years.
Small Grants programme is open to charities and not-for-profit organisations applying for any amount up to and including £10,000 for one year only.
Emergency Essentials programme supports individual children and young people living with severe poverty, a lack of the basic facilities which most of us take for granted and additional pressures such as domestic violence, disability or poor health in the family.
