  • Salary: £40,071 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthy Lifestyles Manager to champion and drive forward Pendle’s place-based working approaches and help remove barriers to becoming physically active, test and learn different interventions and challenge the system to deliver better health outcomes. As a Sport England Place Partner, the successful applicant will also manage and co-ordinate delivery of Together an Active Pendle (TaAP) and the Up and Active Team who deliver various health interventions including cardiac rehabilitation and adult weight management.

We’re looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual who has project management experience from within a public health team, local authority, VCS organisation or from the private sector, and who can bring excellent communication and organisation skills to the role. Someone with strategic experience who can drive system change, ‘join up the dots’ and influence others. Someone who thrives on collaborative working and is willing to step out of their comfort zone to try new and bold ways of doing things.

The successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

  • Employee management and development.
  • Monitoring and evaluating process and outcomes.
  • Budget management.
  • Making the strategic links to other related programmes.
  • Facilitating engagement and consultation activities.
  • Developing briefings and presentations.
