“The National Festival of Making is a unique celebration of UK making, from the factory floor to the kitchen table. Presenting a programme of work that combines Art, Manufacturing, Making and Communities – commissioning international and national artists to create world class works and a participatory FREE FAMILY festival for all to enjoy.
The festival will take place across the weekend of 15th and 16th June in Blackburn town centre. The volunteer roles offer the chance to develop new skills, meet new people and make new friends.
Much of the success of the last National Festival of Making was down to the hundreds of volunteers who gave up their time to lend a hand.
It’s the only event of its type in the UK and celebrates all things ‘made’. You can now register online to volunteer at this year’s National Festival of Making.
There’s lots of different ways to get involved with roles including:
- Place ambassadors
- Workshop helpers
- Set-up assistants
- Artwork invigilators
- Event evaluators.
