Satellite Clubs is committed to providing development opportunities for coaches, participants, young leaders and volunteers involved in their Clubs to build a sustainable pathway for future delivery.

Satellite Clubs embody community based-grassroots sport & physical activity by supporting the development of participants, young leaders and volunteers whilst empowering individuals through local and affordable audience led offers. Active Lancashire understand the crucial role volunteers play and the importance of recruiting the next generation of leaders.

Are you a Satellite Club participant, young leader or volunteer or do you know someone who is? Active Lancashire are providing this fantastic training event to people who are committed to their Satellite Club.

What the Event includes:

The workshop consists of TWO StreetGames Activator workshops: Multi Sport Activator training, Boxing activator training and A Satellite Clubs Master Class workshop delivered by Josie Rice from Garstang Ladies Hockey Club.

Who can attend:

  • Participants from a Satellite Club aged 16+
  • Young people age 16+ from a Satellite Club with an interest in leadership and volunteering
  • Existing Satellite Club volunteers seeking new skills and qualifications
